Yoga Therapy for Insomnia
For anyone who struggles to fall asleep, wakes up in the night and can’t get back to sleep, wakes up too early, or sleeps through the night but doesn’t feel refreshed in the morning. We work through the 5 step Sleep Recovery™ method to help improve your sleep, and to wake up more refreshed, by working with your personal sleep type and looking at what could be sabotaging your sleep.
It helps relax and repair the body, balance the nervous system and replenish your energy, slow down the mind, restore emotional balance and reawaken the happy inside you, through using yoga postures, breathing techniques and mindfulness tools.

Yoga Therapy and Mindfulness for Chronic Pain, 8 week course
Chronic pain can affect people physically, psychologically (by affecting their thoughts, emotions and beliefs) and socially (through its effects on work, relationships, hobbies etc). Yoga therapy and mindfulness techniques can be used to gradually develop change in all these areas, by helping to reduce pain intensity and change your relationship to your pain, reconnect you to your body, decrease your nervous system arousal and help manage flare-ups. Whilst it may not be possible to get rid of the pain entirely, pain may be experienced differently, resulting in an improved quality of life. These techniques are suitable for most types of chronic pain, although for an more individualised approach to work with a specific chronic pain condition, one to one yoga therapy sessions may be more suitable.
