Yin Yoga Classes

Yin yoga is a slower-paced yoga where postures are held for 3-5 minutes or more, with lots of focus on the breath. These longer holds allow the release of muscular tension, and work deeper into the connective tissue, fascia and joints, helping to release deeply held tension and blocked energy in the physical body. At the same time, yin yoga challenges the mind and body to surrender to the physical sensations that may arise with longer holds – a great reminder to re-connect to the breath and be with whatever is arising in the present moment.

My yin class usually finishes with a 15 minute yoga nidra or guided relaxation, which encourages complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. In this state of “conscious sleep”, we can develop a deeper self-awareness, especially around habitual patterns of behaviour. This insight into ourselves can be a powerful tool for transformation.

£12 drop-in, or 10 class pass for £100
(to be used within 5 months of purchase)

Chair yoga is a fun class that is suitable for people of all ages, with or without health challenges, as well as anyone new to yoga. It provides all the amazing health benefits of yoga, including improved fitness, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, deep mind and body relaxation, and increased mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Somatic Yoga Classes

Somatic yoga is a movement-orientated yoga practice which encourages a curious exploration to really feel and connect into our body. By doing so, we can learn to unravel some of our habitual movement and postural patterns, create new nerve pathways to us help overcome stress and trauma, and help promote healing & recovery. It’s a wonderfully liberating practice!
